Applied Training Solutions, LLC awarded contract to support PANAMAX26.

Applied Training Solutions (ATS) is pleased to announce that it was recently awarded a contract to support United States Southern Command’s (USSOUTHCOM) J7/9 Exercises and Coalition Affairs directorate for exercise PANAMAX26. The USSOUTHCOM J7/9 Exercises and Coalition Affairs directorate leverages whole-of-society partnerships, exercises, civil affairs operations, and humanitarian assistance activities to build USSOUTHCOM and partner nation capacity to rapidly respond to crises and defeat threat networks. By developing a well-trained workforce focused on innovative and cooperative solutions, the J7/9 establishes and enhances partnerships across the US Government, International Organizations, Non-Governmental Organizations, the business sector, academia, and all aspects of civil society.

PANAMAX is a U.S. Southern Command-sponsored, multinational, biennial command post exercise aimed at reinforcing and enhancing the long-term security of the Panama Canal and the Western Hemisphere. Using various scenarios involving notional threats, the goal of PANAMAX is to provide participating forces an opportunity to conduct security and stability operations and strengthen their ability to plan and execute complex multinational operations as a team. PANAMAX began in 2003 and has grown to become the region’s largest coalition CPX. Since its inception, partner nations have continued to take increased leadership roles in the exercise.

ATS will be providing USSOUTHCOM with Modeling & Simulation (M&S) Media Emulation exercise planning and execution support for PANAMAX26. In particular, ATS will be supporting PANAMAX with its leading-edge Media Emulation software application “ATSsim”. ATSsim is a web-based training environment that includes AI-supported traditional and social media emulation simulation program that trains teams against misinformation and media noise, equipping them to respond decisively under pressure.

ATS is actively engaged with the Department of Defense to provide innovative and cost-effective training solutions to ensure combat readiness in support of current and future operations. ATS also supports federal, state and local agencies to deliver disaster-preparedness exercise solutions that provide the experience to protect communities.
