TF76 DIGEX/STAFFEX 26

Lehi, Utah — March 2026 — Applied Training Solutions (ATS) successfully supported TF76 ONOWAY RESPONSE, C2CRE-A DIGEX/STAFFEX 26, a large-scale collective training exercise conducted from February 20 through March 1, 2026, at Camp Williams, Utah.

The exercise brought together elements of Task Force 76 (76th Operational Readiness Command), C2CRE-A forces, Regional State National Guard units, and other Department of Defense Title 10 assets to enhance readiness and coordination in complex domestic response scenarios.

ATS delivered critical simulation capabilities through its ATSsim Training and ATSsim Media environments. These systems replicated real-world operational conditions, enabling participants to train in a highly realistic and dynamic environment.

• ATSsim Training (Constructive Simulation): Enabled realistic force flow, mission execution, logistics tracking, and friendly force monitoring within the Joint Operations Area (JOA). It also stimulated common operational picture (COP) tools such as JADC2, JACOP, and Palantir using dynamic data feeds.
• ATSsim Media (Synthetic Media Simulation): Simulated news outlets, organizational websites, and social media platforms, using AI-driven bots to influence information flow and drive decision-making responses.

Additional supporting tools included USNORTHCOM/USARNORTH MAVEN SS/GAIA, along with standard communication platforms such as email and SharePoint.

This Collective Training Event (CTE) was designed to sustain and enhance command and control capabilities for the Defense CBRN Response Force (DCRF) in a No-Notice Defense Support of Civil Authorities (NUTDET DSCA) scenario. The exercise also served as preparation for the upcoming VIBRANT RESPONSE 26 confirmation exercise.

The training scenario centered on a nuclear attack within the United States, prompting a coordinated federal response led by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).

ATSsim was selected for its advanced, cloud-based simulation capabilities and its ability to deliver realistic, scalable training environments. The platform enables:
• Accurate replication of force deployment and mission execution
• Real-time logistics tracking and reporting
• Integration with operational command systems
• Dynamic information environment simulation through synthetic media

These capabilities make ATSsim particularly effective for Defense Support of Civil Authorities (DSCA) training missions.

The exercise successfully achieved its objectives.
Outcome: The 76th ORC (C2CRE-A) demonstrated improved command and control proficiency, effectively coordinating military assets to support lead federal agencies during a complex domestic emergency response.

Exercises like TF76 ONOWAY RESPONSE reinforce the importance of integrated training environments that prepare military and civilian agencies for high-impact, no-notice events.

“As a leader in emergency preparedness training and readiness, ATS continues to actively work to deliver innovative, experience-based disaster-preparedness exercise solutions for local, state, and federal agencies to protect communities.”
