We are thrilled to announce our Training Support System-Enterprise (TSS-E) Task Order award in support of the Installation Ammunition Office (IAMO) at Joint Base Lewis-McChord!

The awarded contract to Applied Training Solutions, LLC includes the provision of Ammunition Technician/Instructor support, responsible for the Joint Base Lewis-McChord (JBLM) Ammunition Handler Certification Course. This role involves coordination of all classes and periodic updates of instructional material for the AHCC. Additionally, IAMO is directly responsible for the maintenance of a local database of all Ammunition Handler Certification classes, serving as a system of record for all personnel completing the AHCC.

IAMO provides comprehensive ammunition management support for all U.S. Army Forces Command tenant units, U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Army Reserve, National Guard, Installation Management Command, and non-tenant units at JBLM requiring Training, Operational, Test, New Equipment Training, and Combat Load ammunition from JBLM or Yakima Training Center Ammunition Supply Points.

The objectives of this contract are multi-faceted, including assistance in the review and validation of organizational submissions for annual ammunition requirements, reviewing ammunition requirements outlined in Standards in Training Commission (STRAC), and non-STRAC requirements such as for competitive marksmanship programs and New Equipment Training Team.

IAMO plays a pivotal role in ammunition management, encompassing requirements determination, forecasting, managing authorizations and usages, and providing technical expertise, training, and serving as the installation point of contact for the Department of the Army’s Automated Total Ammunition Management Information System.
