HAMPTON, Virginia – Applied Training Solutions, Inc. (ATS) announced today that the company is among Inc. Magazine’s annual Inc. 5000 list – the most prestigious ranking of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies.
Ranking 3997 on the list, ATS claims its spot because of dedicated support to the Department of Defense and Homeland Security missions, according to ATS president, Jason Bewley.
According to Inc.5000, the list represents a unique look at the most successful companies within the American economy’s most dynamic segment—its independent small businesses.

“ATS provides a number of services and support to our government partners,” Bewley said. “We’ve grown quickly because of our experience and effective support providing emergency response training to the Armed Forces, both stateside and abroad.”

“ATS is humbled by Inc. 5000’s recognition. We plan to continue our growth in emergency response, as well as cyber security, software development and mission support for the DOD and other government departments and agencies. We look forward to being on the list next year,” said Bewley.

According to Inc., not only have the companies on the 2020 Inc. 5000 been very competitive within their markets, but the list shows staggering growth compared with prior lists as well. The 2020 Inc. 5000 achieved an incredible three-year average growth of over 500 percent, and a median rate of 165 percent. The Inc. 5000’s aggregate revenue was $209 billion in 2019, accounting for over 1 million jobs over the past three years.
