HAMPTON, VA – Team ATS, which consists of Applied Training Solutions, LLC (ATS), and Nusura, is pleased to announce that it was recently awarded a contract to support United States Southern Command’s (USSOUTHCOM) exercise PANAMAX22. USSOUTHCOM plans and executes joint training, exercises, and individual instruction programs to ensure HQ USSOUTHCOM is prepared to accomplish its missions in synchronization with its DOD counterparts, Service Components, and civilian partners, within its area of responsibility.

Team ATS will be providing USSOUTHCOM with Modeling & Simulation (M&S) Media Emulation exercise planning and execution support for PANAMAX22.  PANAMAX is a Government of Panama (GoP) annual unilateral exercise supported by USSOUTHCOM focused on the security of the Panama Canal. PANAMAX trains and prepares the Republic of Panama Public Security Forces and their supporting institutions (Joint Task Force Alpha) to reach the readiness level necessary to prevent, mitigate, and detect, through joint combined operations, threats to the security of the inter-oceanic canal, in the context of the security matrix contemplated in the fundamentals of the Panamanian security policy. The task force has representatives from Panama National Police, Panama National Aeronaval Service, Panama National Border Service, Meritorious Fire Department of the Republic of Panama, and others.
